Holistic Microneedling
-
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin treatment that uses very fine needles to create tiny micro-traumas in the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation. This stimulates the body's natural healing process, boosting collagen and elastin production for firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.
Holistic microneedling takes a holistic approach to microneedling by combining it with body acupuncture during each session. This enhances the skin’s healing response, reduces inflammation, promotes overall wellness, and optimizes results. By treating both the internal and external aspects of skin health, holistic microneedling delivers a more balanced and effective outcome.

While many people report an improvement in skin texture and tone after just one treatment, most people see optimal results after 3–6 sessions, spaced about 1 month apart. However, this can vary based on your individual skin concerns and goals.
Nanoneedling and aesthetic acupuncture can be done between these monthly sessions to increase skin cell turnover and enhance results.
-
Nanoneedling is similar to microneedling, but affects only the epidermis, treating within the upper .15 mm of the skin. This is best for those with sensitive or thinner skin, who want a gentler approach to treatment.
Because nanoneedling is very gentle, there is no downtime and it can be done more frequently or in between microneedling sessions to enhance results.

Our medical-grade oscillating pen has one of the fastest RPMs on the market, which helps keep discomfort to a minimum. A numbing cream may also be applied before treatment to ensure your comfort.

Downtime is minimal, but essential. Your skin may appear red and feel sensitive for 24–48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Most patients return to normal activities within a day or two.
Aftercare instructions include:
Apply Aloe Vera as desired to help reduce redness and discomfort.
Avoid makeup and facial soaps for the remainder of the day. You can wash your face with warm water.
Avoid sun exposure for 72 hours and use a mineral sunscreen daily.
AVOID sweat-inducing exercise and pools for 24 hours post-treatment.
Keep your skin hydrated with hyaluronic acid.
-
You may notice an improvement in skin texture within a few days, but collagen production continues to increase over several weeks. Full results develop after a series of monthly treatments.
-
No problem! Microneedling is safe if you have injectables, provided at least two weeks have passed since your injection appointment.
-
Microneedling is safe for most skin types and tones. However, areas with active acne, infections, keloid scarring, or certain skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis should be avoided.
